Search Queries
A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its result. We do not retain or log those query terms on our systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email or other direct message may be kept long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains internal unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive basic technical data when a page loads, including:
- Your device's assigned IP address
- Browser name and version
- Operating system and general device category
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent
- A referring website, when supplied
- Date and time information for page requests
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files saved on a device. They and analytics services help aggregate traffic patterns, such as popular pages and points where visits end. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how certain features behave.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, compile, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The published material explains how to reach Chester County courts and record creators, the Pennsylvania State Police Central Repository, and the Pennsylvania State Police Megan's Law Public Website. Visitor data is not assembled into a third-party dossier or consumer report, and this operation is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and disclosure practices govern information submitted through those tools. Review the applicable provider policy before running a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to Chester County offices, Pennsylvania court and agency systems, legal resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows an external link, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to measure activity across websites and select ads. We do not operate that tracking infrastructure.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be disclosed to:
- Search providers receiving a query through their tool
- Analytics vendors measuring use and performance
- Advertising networks serving page ads
- Government or law-enforcement authorities acting under a valid legal demand
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used for collected data. No internet-connected service can guarantee complete security, so a breach cannot be ruled out.
Users Under 18
The service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. Information identified as belonging to a minor will be deleted when reasonably verified.
Your Data Rights
Applicable Pennsylvania consumer-protection law, including the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, 73 P.S. §§ 201-1 through 201-9.3, may provide additional protections. The Pennsylvania Right-to-Know Law governs qualifying records held by public agencies, while CHRIA, 18 Pa.C.S. Chapter 91, governs criminal-history dissemination by criminal-justice agencies. Those public-record laws do not turn this private resource into a government records office. Subject to applicable law, a visitor may:
- Request access to personal data held about you
- Seek correction of inaccurate information
- Ask for deletion where the law permits
- Decline eligible forms of processing
